One of the most exciting things I have ever done is to write my life story. My life has been interesting to say the least. A few years ago I found it very therapeutic to write my feelings.  At that time writing was just for myself. But then as I read my work I thought how wonderful it would have been if my grandparents or even great great grandparents had written about their lives and I could read it. It became very addictive to write. As I wrote I remembered many periods in my life and I finally dealt with issues from many years ago by putting my feelings down on paper. So in the last 3 years I have been writing from my first experiences as a child, in high school, college to the present. There were many high points and some lows but to my wonder God was always there for me. I took a writing course at Samford University recently. After some classmates read my book they commented that I might consider publishing it. I never thought of that because from the beginning it was just for me, then my grandchildren. I would hate to die and that be it for me on earth. I think it would be a crime not to be able to show how God worked in my life time after time. So sometimes in the near future I hope to complete my book and make it available to anyone interested. And this will be for one reason only. That will be to show how in good times and bad, or when we let people down or they let us down, our faith guarantees there will always be a better day. I also understand that being this open and honest leaves me vulnerable to criticism but if it helps one person come to know Christ or one person going through tough or disappointing times to have hope it will be worth it all.
