Our Card

I don’t care what part of the country or world we are in. Or maybe just across town. Everyday we meet people that we probably will not ever see again. One story a friend told me that made a great impact on me was when he and his family were at a restaurant. The waitress was setting their food on the table when my friend asked her this. “We are about to say a blessing over our food and we would like to pray for you too. Is there something specific we can pray for in your life?” They said the waitress was overcome with happiness over a stranger caring for her in this way. Over the years I’ve always been blessed in supporting ministries financially. I get great joy in seeing God’s money bless others. We all have a ministry if we choose. It can be a mom at home teaching and raising her children, at the office or supporting other ministries with money or our prayers. Satan is good about wanting us to be on a guilt trip about what we are not doing. Amy and I were out

west one summer and were walking down the street when we passed a row of young men passing out what looked to be booklets. Well when I took one and looked, it was about men’s clubs etc. Well at that moment as I threw it into the trash, God spoke to me. I saw myself at the end of this line of men passing out a gospel tract to counter act this evil with God’s goodness. Over the next months I just listened to God as He directed me to develop our card. What an easy way to touch lives. It’s all in God’s hands. So wherever we go or whoever we meet we can hand someone a card that simply says we care. So as we are given the opportunity to pray for people we meet or contact us through our web site or leave a message on our toll free number. We can also pray for their relationship with the Lord. Someone told me one time that I just wanted people to be just like me. I said oh no, one of me is enough, I just want you to have what I have.
